The New Stone Soup reviewed the general tBlog system and identified several key terms and pages that tBloggers need to navigate both the virtual tBlog world and the World Wide Web. SEARCH ENGINES: Search Engines are Internet programs, basically algorithms that send out imaginary spiders to crawl through every web page they can find. Once these spiders, or Meta Crawlers, find a web page, the algorithm calculates the content and popularity of that particular page. When Internet surfers ask a search engine (such as Google or Yahoo) to help them find a web page about making cookie dough, the search engine produces a list of links, with the highest ranked web pages listed first.
