The New Stone Soup reviewed the general tBlog system and identified several key terms and pages that tBloggers need to navigate both the virtual tBlog world and the World Wide Web. Here is our limited-but always growing-collection of basic definitions. Where images or further bits of information are in order, we've made special links available that will help you travel between definitions, or will take you directly to nifty, helpful pictures. MY ACCOUNT – My Account is a link located on the tBlog Control Panel that takes you to a list, presented in two horizontal rows of three choices. The top row offers these options: My Images (choose from tBlog images, Photobucket, or flickr), My Profile, and My Bookmarks. The bottom row offers these options: Shop, Blog Statistics, and Promote Your Blog.
MY BLOG – My Blog is a link located on the tBlog Control Panel that takes you a horizontal list with the following options: Write a Post, My Template, My Posts, My Comments, and Blog Settings. Below this list, you will also see a vertical display of recent clicks to your Blog Pages.
MY PROFILE – Every tBlogger has a My Profile. You can access, then edit, your My Profile by using the link on your Control Panel. Nearly every tBlogger has a My Profile link on his or her Blog Page that readers can check out if they think you’re cool, geeky or pathetic enough to capture their attention. In addition, everyone can access another tBlogger’s My Profile when they see your Username on tBlurt, on Random Blogs or Hot Blogs by clicking on the second colored circle by your Username.
Your My Profile consists of the following: Username; an Avatar; an “About Me” section; information about your sex, age, where you live, and a link (URL) to your favorite web page even if it’s your own Blog Page; and, finally, a list of your interests.
MY SETTINGS – My Settings is the place to go if you’re in the mood to change your personal information. You may change settings such as your email address, password, zip code, whether you want tBlog to send you an email when you receive comments or tMail, whether you want to receive a tBlog newsletter, and finally, whether you’d like the ability to view your tMatch results.
** To change My Settings, click the My Settings link in the upper left corner of the Control Panel.
** Note: My Settings is different from either Blog Settings, or My Account, or My Profile.
